Inaugural Assembly of the Newly Formed Anglican Church in North America

This week a group of Anglicans is meeting in Bedford, Texas to formally inaugurate the Anglican Church in North America (ANCA). These are Anglicans who have been increasingly uncomfortable with the "the Episcopal Church in the United States and the Anglican Church of Canada [which] have increasingly accommodated and incorporated un-Biblical, un-Anglican practices and teaching." Now these Anglicans have found a formal expression through the ANCA. This is Anglican history in the making. Bishop Robert Duncan is the Archbishop designate for the ACNA.
